Hi All
Can anyone good with the scripting help me out (not too much as i’m trying to learn – lol).
But in short I want a horizontal panel that will move up and down the screen following your finger as if it was pulled.
So far I have the following which is both broken and won’t do what I want even if it did work. Horray!
Self.SetPosition(0,500);
var y = self.getPositionY();
Andriod.makeNewToast(y,true).show();
So i guess i’m probably using self incorrectly. I would try using a var set to getItemById() and then try and use it to set the position, but am not sure how to find out the ID of my container.
I also have no idea how to get the Y position of the last coordinates. I have looked through the API guide but am a little lost.
Any help appreciated!

The script repository is growing, and all the scripts in a list can be as chaotic as Google+ posts (sorry for the bad joke 😛 )
That’s why I decided to put them in categories.
These are the ones I thought about. You can suggest others.
Also, if you think it’s a bad idea it’s easy to restore the list, no problem.
]]>Some of you know this app, but in case you don’t this is an app that now lets you compile 9.png files.
The app is easy to use, the only thing you need to know is that you need the image (this is not a painter app, but I can recommend some good ones) and once you have it just select the borders/margins (if you don’t know what are they, go check what a 9.png file is) and save. It also has a built-in previewer to see the result.
Then you can use the complied picture in LL or where you want.
Note: this was an old app that could only save non-compiled pictures. I asked the developer, and now he finally update it to save compiled ones. As he says in the description, this can have bugs even thought I tested and seems ok.
I’m running the current stable LLX on a nexus 5 running kitkat.
Now I notice that even though I’ve told LLX to hide the status bar, there’s a blank status-bar-sized stripe at the top of the screen.
Also, if I set a wallpaper just for one desktop, the wallpaper extends neither up past where the status bar usually is, nor down past the on screen buttons.
Can anyone help me figure this out?

Probably under the item menu.
