The new update just exploded my setup.
I got multiple bug:
— LLx now appear in the multitasker (althoigh killing it doesn’t change anything)
— Long press on desktop (to display lightning launcher menu) crash LL
— Press on menu button display an empty red bar (LLx menu can no longer be reached) and then LLx generate error message
*****title: “builtin-2”
*****description: At line 5: ReferenceError:
*** “GlobalConfig” is not defined.
*** (builtin-2#5) — I had a folder button which triggered a script to change a panel position. This button is no longer doing any thing (although the other script apparently haven’t change and works properly)
— addendum: script editor crash LLx
As a result I can’t get access to my folders anymore (in the panel that cannot be accessed) and cannot modify my desktop as I can’t display LLx menus nor edit script.
Configuration:
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (not rooted)
Android version 4.4.2
I can’t extract a new template as I can’t access to LLx menu anymore (but If you can use the previous template from last time, it hasn’t change: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hg15hl46hygr9zj/crash%2017-12-2014?dl=0)
My personal opinion about the new changes, and some bugs.
On android 5
Bugs:
The custom background image for the action bar in the app drawer is draw behind the red one. The bar is always red except in search mode.
The new script of the new folder (which is a good idea 🙂 makes an error: GlobalConfig is not defined.
Personal opinion:
Even though I like the new style, I miss the black.
I know android 5 has almost all in white (whyyy), and you need root to change this and I’m not. But some apps lets you choose between a material dark and material light.
Sorry but I preferred the way it was before. How about a setting to change the theme, if possible? (I’ll be happy with dark Holo if necessary)
The script editor in white is just too light.
But as I said it is a personal opinion.
Other than that, good changes 😀
]]>Excuse me..
Can we make customized “dynamic text” to show event or notification without being pressed or triggered by user?
For example displaying “charging…” when phone is in charging state..

]]>V10.7b1 beta (hummm… I think it will be a long post…)
This is an early preview of the “visual refresh” that has been announced earlier. It’s far from being complete and a huge improvement, and I mostly hope that the UI will be a bit more consistent, but I would be glad to get your opinion on this preview, even.
So what’s inside exactly? Changes mostly deals with the “chrome” (menus, configuration screens, dialog boxes, etc.). In a nutshell the app adopts a light theme. More precisely it uses the Holo theme on Android versions from 3.0 to 4.4, and the Material theme on Android 5+ (with fancy ripples that you often don’t see because your finger is over the button). Sorry 2.3 users, you won’t see a big difference because the app mostly stays with the old dark theme.
The default setup has not been revised yet, except for the default item style, which is nevertheless a very visible update. A profound rework of the default setup is scheduled for the next update. (By the way I will once again request the help of the community in the next days or weeks with various polls…)
One thing is special on Android 5: the app is customizing the color palette with red (the same red as the bolt). This color is most notably seen in the status and action bar. That’s great to give some sort of “branding”, which is suggested on the “Best practice for user interface” page, but on the other hand I fear the amalgamation with other well known apps such as G+ or Gmail. Given the reduced amount of distinguishable colors and the ever growing number of apps, I don’t know how this can be avoided though… I am nevertheless interested in knowing what you think about that.
Also worth of interest is the introduction of a new “User menu” which consists in a special folder populated with various shortcuts (edit layout, add item, select wallpaper, etc.). Since this is a folder, it can be customized at wish. By default it is plugged on the menu key on devices having one and replaces the old default (Lightning menu) and can be reached with a new action “User menu”.
There are also a few new script functions (changelog) but all other pending bug fixes and new features are stacked in a parallel branch. Please be patient until the merge 😉
]]>Seamless Mode:-
I know it’s still experimental, but I have found an issue. I have a desktop and use seamless mode to scroll the icons. All works well. However, I went to edit that desktop and upon selecting Edit Layout, the desktop disappeared. I had to zoom right out and scroll many many screens down to find my desktop, bring it back into the display and make my change. It had literally gone into outta space. Then the desktop would just not scroll correctly. Icons all misaligned. I turned off seamless mode, tried again, and it worked like normal. I can repeat this every single time. So when going into edit layout mode, I think the seamless mode needs to be switched off until all changes are made.
]]>Hi! I think I found a bug, or something similar.
I have 2 desktops, and I am using the second of them as a lock screen. The first desktop has 3 screens, and the second desktop has a single screen.
I have 3 gestures defined. Swipe down to open the notifications tab, swipe up to go to “All apps” and swipe sideways with 2 fingers to switch between desktops.
On the second desktop I have an unlocker (a visible icon).
Most of the setup works perfectly, but I found a bug, or at least something very odd.
Most of the times, the swipe up gesture gets me to the lock screen. I touch the unlock icon again, and I am back on the main desktop. That is how i know that I was in the lock screen and not the second desktop. The unlock icon on the second desktop does nothing, and a pop-up says that the screen was not locked.
So, I tried playing with the gestures settings, like not setting global gestures and only use desktop gestures, or the other way, or even use both. But I always get the same non-desired behaviour.
I even tried to leave gestures, and set the “Back” button to “All apps”, but I get the same bad behaviour: after touching the back button on the main desktop I get to the lock screen, and not to “All apps”.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S3, from Rogers Canada, rooted.
