Hi!

Hi! A few weeks ago I received a notice that there was a new LL update, but it came with a lot of permissions requirements. Is there any explanation for this sudden need of permissions?

Thanks!

Hi!

Hi! Since a few days ago, widgets do not update on any desktop/screen. None of them do (yahoo weather, google calendar, google now, etc.). Not even the alarm widget does. When I touch the clock symbol, an alarm symbol appears on my notification panel, meaning that the widget is working, but the alarm symbol does not turn from grey to green to indicate that the alarm is on, like it did before.

I am using v. 12.5.2 (R2313) in a Samsung Galaxy S3, Android 4.3 with Rogers Canada.

Restarting the phone updates the widgets, but only once, and they remain in that state until I restart the phone again.

Hi! I think I found a bug, or something similar.

Hi! I think I found a bug, or something similar.

I have 2 desktops, and I am using the second of them as a lock screen. The first desktop has 3 screens, and the second desktop has a single screen.

I have 3 gestures defined. Swipe down to open the notifications tab, swipe up to go to “All apps” and swipe sideways with 2 fingers to switch between desktops.

On the second desktop I have an unlocker (a visible icon).

Most of the setup works perfectly, but I found a bug, or at least something very odd.

Most of the times, the swipe up gesture gets me to the lock screen. I touch the unlock icon again, and I am back on the main desktop. That is how i know that I was in the lock screen and not the second desktop. The unlock icon on the second desktop does nothing, and a pop-up says that the screen was not locked.

So, I tried playing with the gestures settings, like not setting global gestures and only use desktop gestures, or the other way, or even use both. But I always get the same non-desired behaviour.

I even tried to leave gestures, and set the “Back” button to “All apps”, but I get the same bad behaviour: after touching the back button on the main desktop I get to the lock screen, and not to “All apps”.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S3, from Rogers Canada, rooted.

Hi!

Hi! I just started using this amazing launcher, and I have a lot of questions. I hope you can help me. My phone is a Galaxy S3, with rooted Android 4.3, from Rogers (Canada).

1. Is there any way to add an “Unlocker” with any kind of security (password, pattern, etc)?

2. Is there any way to add counters to gmail, phone, etc. icons that show unread emails, missed calls, messages, etc.?

3. I am having trouble with some widgets that do not auto-update, like the transit one. Can you guys give me any hint into what could be the problem? Other widgets update just fine (like yahoo weather, or calendar widgets).

4. I have a noticiable lag when opening “All apps”, both when doing it from the icon or by a gesture. It takes close to 2 seconds to open, and sometimes I even wonder if I did the gesture right. Pierre Hébert told me to turn on the “Minimize memory usage” option, and it seems a bit faster. But I am afraid that this may slow down the launcher (at least that is what it says in the settings). So, have you encountered this issue as well? Is there any other way to deal with it?

5. Is there any way to select multiple items/widgets to move them around?

6. Is there any way to limit sorting and compacting to a single screen and not the whole desktop¿

7. I am using a second desktop as lock screen. In that desktop I am using only one screen, and I have turn off all gestures and scrolling, except swype down to show notifications. It works very well, but if I press “Home” button instead of unlocking the screen or touching any icon, the launcher starts behaving very strangely. Widgets disappear from the lock screen, it is impossible to open “All apps”, etc. Has anybody else had this problem?

Thanks a lot!
