V12.4b4 beta
]]>With all the changes you have added there is one thing missing I’d still like to see: the ability to duplicate…
Wow!
Made a new setup to really try out the work flow with the new editing tools.
I love it!
… And just realized that portrait lock isn’t working. :-)
Edit:
Ok well I guess it’s working now.
When I checked it was set for portrait lock. Switched back to sensor. That was fine. Went back to portrait lock and seems to work now. I’ll keep an eye on it anyway.
]]>Hi
Can someone please tell me how can I use LL.create image method to create image from URI rather than the actual path. Is it possible? Else please share the alternative approach.
]]>V12.4b4 beta
Edit: V12.4b5 with some more fixes. Feature frozen until the release.
Edit: V12.4b6 hopefully this update will become a bit more stable.
Be prepared to see some more visible changes before to download this version…
This update features a reworked and somewhat experimental popup menu. The basic idea is to provide one menu content for the edit mode, focused on edit tasks, and another menu content in normal mode geared toward “management” tasks such as app info, kill, etc. That’s a disruptive change, I need your feedback on this!
In addition, the popup menu has now a header with most basic edit actions (add, delete, …), this way I hope the menu will still be a fast way to modify items.
Also related, but a more subtle change, is the behavior of the long tap and move operation on an item, while not in edit mode. I tuned the logic so that an item can be moved in normal mode, and the edit mode is triggered when the item is dropped, only if the “auto edit” option is checked. The default value for this option has also changed, it is now off by default. This stuff is not easy to explain, the best is to try it! And I also need your feedback on this new behavior…
Also in this update: lots of bugfixes and more tuning on the background image size. I expect it to solve pixelation issues.
Enjoy!
]]>Question to Pierre Hébert:
There is an extra flag to scripts ‘FLAG_DISABLED’ that is set when clicking the ‘disable’ button in an alert made with that script (mainly when an error occurs) and is cleared when you open that script in the editor.
It is possible to set/clear it from script, however setting it doesn’t work, while clearing it does.
Is it a bug or there is a reason?
I made a script to enable/disable others scripts easily.
It is useful when you know that a script is crashing/making slower the launcher but you don’t know which one. Disabling script execution doesn’t let you know which one is the problem, and the only way now is to write ‘return’ before each one. (This is the reason I want this flag to be able to be set from script)
