I’m looking for a way to sort my All Apps by installation date (not update date that LL provides)
Is there an existing way to do this (a setting I’m missing… or perhaps a script?)
Much regards.

Something like hide and seek
]]>I’m playing around with stop points for the first time, and I’m a but stuck.
I have a stop point off to the right of my screen so that I can swipe to the right and basically get a sidebar. That all works as expected. However, once the scrolling stops at the stop point it gets stuck and I can’t swipe it away again. I’ve tried playing with all the stop point settings and I can’t get it swiping away.
I fully expect I’ve made a mistake somewhere, but can someone let me know where? Maybe this isn’t the best way to get a sidebar, maybe I’m not getting my head around what a stop point should be able to do, or did I simply miss a setting somewhere?
]]>I need some help with something.
On hide and seek theme, it has a show widgets icon which moves the panel across, and a hide icon within the sliding panel that moves it back to the other page.
Looking at the items it’s two short-cuts, but I can’t figure out what the short-cut is, nothing seems obvious in the lighting actions list how I slide something in from another page, am I on the right track or am i looking at this all wrong ??
]]>Just wanted to share some info.
In ‘All Apps’
In ‘All Apps’
1. Alphabetical
1.1 Can folders used to group apps?
1.2 Besides tapping search, can there be an alphabetical bar for quick scrolling to apps starting with the alphabet tapped?
2. ‘Recently launched’ & ‘Used often’ don’t reflect apps that are launched by non-LLX methods and are thus limited in utility.
3. ‘Recently updated’ doesn’t reflect all apps that were updated. I think it reflects recently installed apps better though I’m not sure how completely this information is captured.
Can ‘All apps’ be scripted?
Best regards
I would like the option of loading the Samsung Touchwiz launcher from my LLX lock screen.
If possible, could someone tell me how to call it in a script please ?
I already have a script that allows me to swipe to different desktops from the lock screen i.e. unlock phone and load a Lightning desktop, however, I fancy having the option of calling the stock Samsung UI too.
Not sure if it’s possible, as I don’t want Touchwiz as my default launcher, just call it to run now and again, when I fancy.
]]>Hi everybody
With LLX just installed, I cannot add any panel. They are available only when I download a theme and delete all elements. How can I get panels with a clean LLX installation?
Regards
]]>Not exactly related with Lightning, but this is something I have in mind since while, and a recent post from…
Would some ‘script lover’ be interested in a JavaScript runtime only application? This would be a kind of runtime that loads a script, possibly from an APK and run it. It would provide a screen so that views can be added, and most importantly a good (or at least decent) JavaScript editor. All in one it would allow the creation of mini apps, without compiler, directly on the phone or tablet.
That’s the basic idea, it is easy to imagine how it could be extended. I don’t even checked whether it already exists or not. Just throwing the idea here.
