Lightning Launcher eXtreme v10.6 is online! This is the first major release since a while and I am very happy to publish it. Things are moving forward.
Most notable new features are support for custom status and navigation bar color (full support for Android 5+, tinted on Android 4.4), an experimental “seamless mode” allowing an infinite scrolling and at last but not least a new setting to automatically colorize any icon. As usual, a fair number of bug fixes are also included 😉

]]>I just noticed something: why in folders there are no ‘pages’ like in desktops and panels?
I mean: in edit mode the only lines are the grid ones, not those with the size of the container.
Also with the seamless mode you can’t have a space at the right, it is like if the ‘fit desktop to screen’ were always checked (when it is not) and with the ‘snap to pages option active’
If you still don’t understand:
In a desktop with a grid of 5×5 place an item in the first cell (0,0,1,1) and another one in the top left of the second page (5,0,6,1). Activate the seamless mode and the snap to pages, deactivate the fit desktop to items.
If you scroll horizontally, each time you can see only one item at the top left corner. Ok.
If you do the same in a folder, when you scroll the first time to the right, both items are displayed one right near the other.

Release of my The Art Of Japan setup….included are a lock,home,sidebar and calendar screen which are all done with Zooper and are full screen widgets…I use a Note 3 so you may have to adjust the widgets..
Cause of the fact i use Lightning launcher Extreme and have the ability to use scripts my main home widget slides to the left to reveal my sidebar(im sure you can figure something out with other launchers…i have the icons on the homescreen with hotspots for the sidebar scroll,going to my calendar page and the other for my app drawer..
Sidebar is configured with all corresponding apps and info with hotspots as everything you see is implimented into the wall itself
Again all walls and icons etc.. were done by me in Photoshop..

Using again Lightning Launcher Extreme,Zooper Pro and i use LLX Lockscreen with swipe up to unlock but i’m sure Widgetlocker works the same 🙂

Wallpapers….. Can you revert them? It seems on occasion due to unknown (to me) magic, some get scaled, and some get resized to the screen depending on the apparatus chosen to apply it through disambiguation. When an undesirable result is achieved, applying a new wallpaper often produces a different and unwanted result. I would like to “unset” what I have set, and pick up from the place where everything went wrong. Or remove everything wallpaper related, but leave the layout and icon settings.
I hope my question is worded well enough…. Sorry for the cryptic attempt.

Community changes:
1) I sorted the categories so the most used ones are first. What do you think?
2) I don’t know how long the description of the community supports links, and I don’t really know why we decided to leave the links in a pinned post. I posted the links there (except the LL ones) because I think the ‘pinned post feature’ is better for important current news like active betas, contests, etc.
Both changes are easy to undone or modify. Open to discussion.
If you like them we can modify also the Users community.
