>> Changing the Default Desktop <<
I am working with several widgets, mainly Zooper Pro… depending on my mood I would like to have these on my actual main screen which is marked with the house icon, but when I change the default desktop LLX is starting a new one…
Is it possible to add a feature which allows to draw the “house” to a new place? so that the screen on the left side ( or above, or richt side…. ) will be the new center of screens?

So I copied a template I liked online from a designer to the LL folder. Restored it. Customised it to my liking. Got everything setup the way I want except for the “all apps” shortcut. Now even though it shows all installed apps, it also shows quite a few apps that I have never installed. It’s really annoying. Is this a bug? Or are these remnants of the original designer’s installed apps that he used as hotspots for his widgets? Even if they are, there has to be a way around this.

I have LL installed on my Galaxy Note 4, and had some problems with the NY Times widget, so I deleted it, rebooted the phone, and re-added the widget. It seemed to work fine. I then added the widget to another part of the screen, and deleted the first instance of the widget. When I hit the Delete option, LL wiped all of my setup – every folder, app and widget that I’d applied disappeared. I tried several things – rebooting the phone, reinstalling LL, and restoring it from a template that I’d saved before the problem, but nothing worked – I just end up with an empty screen. I also created a new template from my tablet, copied that to my phone, and tried restoring, but again, the screen is completely blank except for the background image. Any ideas how I can get LL to start working again and hopefully restore my setup from one of the templates I’ve saved?

Hi, I’m new to launchers as well as Google+ groups. I’ve had LL for about 24 hours on my Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 10.1, and am addicted – what a great tool for expanding the functionality of my phone and tablet. I’ve set up a layout on my phone that I’m happy with and would like to back it up, so I could restore everything to as it is, in case something happens to the phone or I screw up the layout beyond easy recovery. I’d also like to port it to my tablet. But I can’t figure out how to back up the complete layout, so that the folders and app positions are backed up. Is there a way to do that? Any help would be much appreciated.

In Apex Launcher there’s a feature that adds a Horizontal and Vertical Margin to the desktop. Would this be possible to do with a script? Can anyone write it for me? I was thinking something simple like a dialog that asks me what size margin I want, so i can have a different size margin for each side of the desktop. Cheers.

I’m a beginner at Lightning Launcher, so apologies in advance for what may well be something obvious. I’m trying to get app icons in a folder to roll over to a new line when there’s more than the specified number of columns, but I can’t figure out what setting this is. I have it working on one folder, but can’t isolate the difference between this folder and others where they are extending off screen. Any help will be appreciated!

Is there a way to multi-add items to a folder. I’m trying to design a new layout for my contacts and it’s a real pain adding each contact separately.

I have some Tasker variables (profile status, unread notifications, battery level, etc.) that I would like displayed on the home screen as formatted text (using Tasker variables to control font style, color, size) on a LLX home screen. These would then be refreshed by a Tasker-controlled cycle
Would anyone here have a sample script I can reference that shows how we can use the LL.getEvent().getData() event to achieve this?
I know this can be done with Zooper, Minimalistic text, etc. I’m trying to avoid widgets altogether because they tend to be RAM-hungry and slow after adding one too many

Can anybody provide a script that does the following:
enumerate all installed apps
dynamically create/draw the app icons (the icons should be clickable and launch the app)
I am trying to create a custom app drawer.
Thanks for any help that you can extend.
