I’m new on LL community.
I would like to thank Pierre for the great work.
I’m just migrated to LL Ex (ver.8.2.1) and I’ve noticed a couple of problems (bugs?) that seemed not be present in the previous version (the no Ex ver).
1) I set LL as default launcher but at any phone restart Android asks me which launcher to use.
2) In Layout mode (free mode), if I try to move an icon with hide text label and ruotated more than 45° the icon starts to run in a circle “tornado” mode and run away (in a truly spectacular way 😀 )
No one else have noticed these problems?

How about Timeout feature?
LL can have very flexible layout, even diagonal scrolling is posible.
And LL preserves current/last screen position, so if we launch some app in desktop’s not-home page, and using that app, at last if we come back to laucher, we see last state of launcer, ie. not desktop’s home page.
This can be good or not good in some case. So if we can set Timeout(of XXX, I dont know proper term), after passing timeout-time without touching laucher, then LL moves current desktops page to home.
This feature is nearly essential for Car mode launcher, but others can be useful, I think.
]]>When you hold the background to open the launcher menu, it opens where you hold it(A).
And: if B is one or more screens above A, the menu will be hidden (you won’t see it) or shrunken.

Is it possible to implement something like this? You select two or more screens and say for example
– Screen1 7:00 – 9:00
– Screen2 9:00 – 20:00
– Screen3 20:00 – 7:00
And Lightning Launcher will switch screens at the selected hours.
Just an idea 😉

I think the only thing I changed during that time was to stay resident in memory. I accessed the menu from the 3 dot in the app drawer to disable the option, but it didn’t help.
Menu button won’t respond at all.

Since the last week I spent most of my time on the project to fix bugs and stabilize the thing. If all goes well this activity will decrease (I hope!) and let me more time to work on new things. Many peoples asked for new features the last week: what about selecting a few of them and then start a vote to decide which one to implement first ? What would be the features you would like to see in the voting ?
