If you have a pinned folder and the screen is scrolled it is next to impossible to drag&drop an app into the folder.

This is true only in LL, LLX, and LD.

Pierre Hébert Let me know if you need steps to reproduce the problem…

Can you pin a widget in one desktop and have it appear across all desktops as you switch them?  So for example when I have desktop #4 shortcut on desktop #1, I want the status widget to remain at the bottom when I switch, without having to manually add that same widget to desktop #4.

This is my new screen.

This is my new screen. The common ‘a minimalist screen with hidden icons left and right’. The special thing is that I didn’t use any customizable widget, all is done using the launcher features (mainly pin)

Main screen: a picture with a few icons. All is pinned vertically. (Did you notice the gradient grey-photo at the left? And the black-photo up and down? I don’t have transparent status bar, but this is very similar)

Swipe left: pinned(horizontal and vertical) items in the background. All of them launch a different action if you swipe left from them(Firefox-chrome, all apps-settings…)

Swipe right: widgets: each of them have an icon at the right that opens the app (if the widget don’t provide it) or a shortcut. The widgets are pinned only horizontally so you can scroll up and down. The icons are not pinned. Widgets at the background, icons at the front.

On the LLW Super Screen Switcher LL widget in LL Extreme, the options “Configure screens” and “Select Visible screens” no longer respond (you can tap – but no screen comes up. The other options work fine).

I re-installed LL and they work fine.

Are these widgets still supported under LL Extreme?

(On Samsung Note 3).

Beta Tester wanted !

Beta Tester wanted !

Better template sharing using APK is coming. What it does mean is that it will be possible to download APKs from the Play Store and apply them in LL. The opposite is also true: it will be possible to export a setup from LL and share it on Google Play, with all the inherent benefits for themers.

The Theme Manager app will be deprecated soon in favor of this alternate and better way to share templates. It will continue to work but the app will be unpublished.

Support for widgets is better than in the theme manager but still limited yet: starting at Android 4.1 LL will be able to recreate widgets, but not their data. I hope to improve this in the future.

Curiously for a beta, this version also contains a lot of bug fixes ! So it should be quite safe to use, as only the template related part is new. If you don’t use templates, then it will probably run better that the current 8.3 !

And a short tutorial on how to create APKs is here:
