Important for all users: Please check that Bug Reports are enabled in the settings, I falsely disabled them by default in V2.9. No personal information is sent with bug reports.
The beta version was more stable than the current release, so I’m promoting it to stable. The release has only minimal changes from the last beta.
Works only with LL V14 stable.
This means Beta testing is over and I wont be handing out any more free codes for now. Already sent codes will continue to work until end of this year.
As this is now finished (thanks to all testers), I have time for new ideas. Bug reports and feature requests welcome!
– Alternative music control mode: Has to be turned on for each player. Might allow to control players which have a broken implementation of standard controls. Expect larger latencies in this mode. (worked with Poweramp alpha for me Masaoka Taro)
– Supports multiple music widgets in parallel. Will probably not work with old widgets.
Other:
– Shows Trial state/expiration in the settings
– Fixed problems with license detection (thanks to Family Wijbenga)

Pierre Hébert with the addition of extend() and getMy() items and containers now share a lot of functionality. Would it be possible to pull this up into a common superclass?
methods I think should be shared:
extend()
getId()
getMy()
getProperties()
get/setTag()
I’m not sure about
getHeight()
getWidth()
getParent()
while position related methods have the same signature too, I don’t think they should be shared as they do completely different things.

– Tap on album cover opens latest player (requested by Lionel SANCHEZ)
– Cover will now be transparent if there is none available (instead of the most recent one) (requested by Lionel SANCHEZ)
– Unresolved: Icons are not loaded and show the default Android icon instead (reported by Ian Macdonald and Lionel SANCHEZ and confirmed by me). Pierre Hébert and I are currently trying to identify the issue.

Pierre Hébert could you check if there is a problem with setDefaultIcon and/or createImage? This line worked before (I think until last beta, but I’m not sure)
