Pop-up bug:
Pop-up bug:
I don’t have MENU key, but I can reproduce this with the gesture: “two fingers swipe down-open launcher menu” (secondary bug: this gesture don’t work on the app drawer)
-make a new desktop
-place an item in the middle of the bottom page (I mean, scroll down and place the item)
-exit edit mode
-long press that item
-scroll up to the main page, so you can’t see the item
-swipe down with two fingers
(See screenshot)
You can place the item upper and downer to see more or less from the pop-up menu. You can also hide it completely.
NOTE: only work if you are above the item, for some reason if the item is above the screen, the pop-up menu is shown completely at the top of the screen.
]]>About the bug with the label:
About the bug with the label:
Make a new desktop, default settings.
Place a shortcut.
Edit: “maximum number of lines: 2” “label position: bottom”
If the label is one short word, the label has one line.
If the label is some short words, the label has two lines.
If the label is one long word ( abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz) the label is cut, BUT it’s placed on the second row, not the first one. So there is a space between the icon and the label, that space was introduced in latest version.
]]>Little bug in latest version:
If you have an app with the label at bottom, two or more lines, and the name of the app is only one long word (try it with +20 characters to test)
The name will be placed a bit more down than if the name is short or multi-word.
(If you can’t reproduce it I will give more detailed settings)
]]>About the search feature in LLX:
The search feature is a good tool, you improved it with the ability to search letters inside name, (and also you fixed some related bugs) these are some suggestions, maybe they are easy to implement…maybe.
1)ENTER key make a new line…useless. Why not make that ENTER key launch the first app of the list? (Maybe also highlight it to be more visual)
2) Not sure if this is some android feature, but in a lot of apps where you can search, the search text is highlighted over the other words. For example if you search [ttin] you’ll see in the list: ‘android seTTINgs’ , ‘google seTTINgs’ … (the mayus means another color, different background…)
]]>About how to choose the lock screen:
Instead of go to general settings and choose the lock screen, why not make a new button in the screen list from ‘settings-configure desktops’ to choose the lock screen the same way you choose the home screen?
]]>When you have the lock screen, and you open an app from the status bar (I mean, clicking on a notification) then the…
Maybe you need to check when LL lose the focus, and unlock automatically…But I have the impression that it’s not as easy as that. (Maybe unlock it when it lose the focus and didn’t recover it in…two seconds? )
By the way, was this mentioned before? If so I apologize.
]]>About the new English translation:
I want to say that I like the new translation, the settings are more understandable. Congratulations.
The only thing (so far) I don’t like is ‘steal a style’. I think ‘copy a style’ is a bit better, because the other icon don’t lose their style.
But, maybe I’m not the best user to say this, I’m Spaniard. So that’s why I posted this in the ‘discussion’ section.
]]>One thing I didn’t notice before: when I check the ‘dual position’
Why you can’t have an item with different sizes?
]]>A little bug I discovered…but never posted it.
When you make a backup of LL (not LLX), you delete the launcher’s data from android settings, and then you restore the backup; all items in the app drawer disappear, just after the restore the app drawer is blank. Refresh it to bring the items back.
Also, all the items are then visible, so the list of hidden items is lost forever.
