I thought that panels were not necessary in the contest, anyway this is my entry with them. (Small change)
It’s a simple one, easy to add new apps, pinned panel with settings (a bit different dock), help folder in free mode…
Sorry for the poor quality of the video, there is a screenshot to help you imagine how it is.
You can also check my older entry without panels. [ https://plus.google.com/app/basic/stream/z12kiplhpsjcjxzp404cf3nbvqrpu5qgmbc ] (not sure if the link work)

Very strange bug with panels:
When I set to one icon inside a panel a gesture (any in any direction) then, when you swipe from it in any direction (even not set ones) it become selected and enter edit mode…
If you can’t reproduce it I will provide specific settings/layout
]]>Panels are great!
Panels are great!
This is the first unexpected behaviour, but don’t worry. I post it just in case you didn’t know it.
No crashes until now 🙂
]]>Is this intended?
In one old version you made that, when you copy an item it doesn’t copy their pinned state.
However I discover now (not sure if it happened always) that, if an item is already pinned, it loses her pinned state, whatever the ‘copied’ item was.
I think that, if an item is pinned, and you want to copy the style from another one…it should remain pinned.
Is this a bug?
]]>This is an old feature that I suggested to pierre long time ago by email…maybe he missed it so here it is:
When you want to use an icon image to an item (such as a shortcut) you can take icons from ADW packs…but:
Why not a new option: “default icon pack”
Then the app drawer will open, you’ll select an icon, and the item will take only the app default icon image.
IMHO I think it’s useful, and not sure how difficult it’ll be, but if you can take the whole item…why not only the icon.
Again remember: only a suggestion.
]]>This suggestion maybe is not necessary, not sure how many people will like it, but it’s (I think) easy to add, and…
Suggestion: when you have a widget from an app, and you uninstall that app, the widget still appear, but with an error message. You can change it without need to readd another one.
So: why not the same with apps? (And maybe shortcuts, don’t know what happen with them)
My suggestion is to add an option in general settings to ‘keep deleted apps’ with an error message. This way, if you delete an app and install a different one (or the same) you don’t need to readd it again, just click – select app to launch – new app, and then if you want change the icon.
Yes, I know, I can add the new app first, copy style, and delete the old app, but if you have few space, bad memory, others; you’ll maybe find this useful.
…what do you think?
Oh, in the app drawer this would be useless, so not need to implement it there…or maybe with a different option.
]]>Do you remember an old bug (I post it some time ago) in which: when you restart LL from the action “restart” every…
…has come again, but now it’s worst because the only way to fix it is force close it from android settings.
Android 4.4.2
LL 8.8.7
]]>Strange behaviour (android 4.4.2 LL 8.8.7)
In the app drawer (the basic, not LLX) when you enable transparent status bar and/or transparent navigation bar the pop-up widget that appear when you long click an item is set to the item below.
Could someone else (remember NOT LLX) test this?
]]>My simple setup (first)
The wallpaper can need to change. It’s just to see a very-simple one. (Made with the mobile phone)
Scroll left/right to different pages, they are default icons so when the user will add more, they will fit.
Scroll up/down to show/hide the dock. This will show how pinned items work.
The ‘help’ folder is a free mode one, it will make the user think “what?” and then they will discover free mode. (And folder properties)
Some stop points are added, they will help the user to understand them.
