In light of the ability to allow items to rotate in place when switching from portrait to landscape…
I think it would make sense to allow separate portrait/landscape positioning of items even when desktop is locked in portrait.
Is this feasible? At this point that’s all that is preventing a successful dual mode layout.
I think another way to achieve the desired effect would be an option to just lock wallpaper into portrait or landscape, even when desktop is not locked.
Edit:
That may be the most logical method, because really my main reason to lock in portrait is just to keep the wallpaper from screwing up. It’s hard to make a wallpaper that “works” on both portrait and landscape.
]]>Stop Points –
What do you guys think about color coding stop points?
For instance, one color for barrier, one for desktop wide, one for both, one for neither.
Would this be useful, or just more confusing?
Comments?

LLX 9.3 b3
Strange behavior when editing a panel within a panel.
Easier to explain with video.
Steps:
Edit Layout , desktop
Edit Layout, panel 1
Edit Layout, panel 2
Exit edit layout mode
Strange behavior
Restart launcher
I have a shortcut at top of screen to restart launcher, which I press after demonstrating bug to restore normal appearance.
Also,
Is the black panel, upon selection intended? Or is this another 2.3 transparency issue?

Android 2.3.7
I think I have narrowed this down…
The issue of panel contents position not sticking:
This may be a memory issue, but I have found that using the geometry adjustments, panel contents position keeps reverting. When manually repositioning (difficult because item “swells” by way of animation) the position sticks.

In BOX, the Margin segment doesn’t highlight to indicate that it is selected. Function works fine, however.
]]>Some one has mentioned this before (maybe gerd reuter?) But I would like to re-state…
Is it possible to have gestures (most particularly “empty spot” functions) be allowed per individual desktop only?
Currently it seems to be a global setting.
Thanks for your work Pierre Hébert
