Another bug:
Another bug:
The properties menu when editing containers is wrong if you: edit container A and hide that menu. Go to container B and show that menu. Properties of the container A will be shown. (It is not necessary to use desktops)
This can make also a bug: if that previous container is a deleted one, I tested with a desktop, it will undo the deletion when editing a propertie, or crash. (Note to Pierre Hébert: this is what I did in the email I sent to you)
Now I’m thinking this is expected (if you are undo a panel deletion for example it needs to go back) the problem is, I think, when the panel is deleted somehow and can’t be restored.

Just in case: I’m turning the device to turn the item
]]>Here it is! Animated icons!
Here it is! Animated icons!
This is something I’ve been making since some weeks, and in fact I finished before the current stable version started with the betas. But unfortunately I needed a way to choose a file, and the awesome lollipop file picker doesn’t return the path of the picked file. So I instead used Lighting’s file picker, which had some bugs fixed in the current version 😉 {Did someone notice the animated icon on my previous script video ‘Dynamic editor’? }
Currently the script can only use .gif files, but if you know any icon pack with animated icons that are not gifs, tell me and I’ll try with that. Also if you know an icon pack of gif files tell us in comments, as I could only find this one: https://web.archive.org/web/20150320083052/http://www.redworks.com/en/free-flat-animated-icons (NOTE: the site seems to be now a different one. For this reason the link is from the web archive)
The instructions are easy: run the script from the icon, choose a gif file, and accept if you want it to be automatically animated (otherwise you’ll need to set the script to an event). If your want to change to another gif file, just run the script again.
Important: the launcher keeps the reference of the gif file. If you remove it or change it’s path it will prompt an error.
Note: the more animated icons you have, the slower they all will become. You can change the fps in the script if necessary.
{In the video there are 13 animated icons simultaneously, and they still play at a good rate.}
Technical details:
A Movie file is created with the path chosen as parameter.
Successive timeouts are fired which draws that Movie in the live image of the icon.
]]>A bug with a feature suggestion:
When you duplicate an item, the duplicated is placed at the right.
Bug: the handlers disappear, even thought the original item keeps focus. And if you immediately change a property of the item, the handlers are shown back.
Suggestion: move the focus to the created item. This way if you press on duplicate repeatedly, the icons are placed in a row, now they all are placed in the same spot (the right of the original item)
]]>General small utility that lets you enable/disable scripts one by one.
I personally used it when I needed to check if a script was taking long to load, instead of writing ‘return’ at the beginning.
For you to remember: when you open a script in the script editor it is automatically enabled.
]]>Not a bug, but an unexpected behavior.
If you disable script execution in General settings, the items in the user menu (the folder with shortcuts) don’t work.
Maybe if a ‘reserved’ script (id<0) is about to run and script execution is disabled ask to enable it? Or simply let those scripts run always even if that setting is off?
]]>I remember someone posting this bug in the past, but it is still in the launcher so…
In the ‘script error’ dialog, there is a ‘view script’ button.
The bug is that this button opens the currently active script in the script editor, not the error script.
This is almost all times unnoticeable, because when the error happens the current script is the same as the error script.
But, if in the middle another script gets executed (and this can happen with paused/resumed events mainly) that button opens the wrong script in the editor.
I hope the fix is easy enough.
]]>Small suggestion: in the app drawer when you long click an app, the delete button (the trash image) is not…
What about remove that entry and make that trash button the uninstall one?
(I just went to remove an app, and the first button I pressed were that trash one, that’s why I suggest this)

Pierre Hébert: recently you added a feature so that clicking the name in the box editor (orange oval) shows a toast with the full name, in case it is too long and gets cut.
Suggestion 1: what about add that feature also in the pop-up menu? (green oval)
[Independent from suggestion 1]
Suggestion 2: what about let that name to be scrolled horizontally? With or without the ‘click to toast’
