How do I make the background of the sidebar transparent?

how does the badge work?  i can’t seem to find it documented anywhere.  

Hey.  How do i show the list of recent applications?  i can set up a shortcut in Nova to do this, but i haven’t figured out how to do this using LLX.  Is there a way?

I’m trying to apply an icon pack to a panel, but it’s not working. I can do it with a folder. Is there something special for it to work with a panel?

Question. I’m setting up some gestures to open sidebars. I don’t wa tan icon for the sidebars to be displayed on my desktop. Are there any best practices to manage this? Thanks.

it’s been way too long since i’ve last posted…almost 24 hours! 🙂

next question.  I have 5-6 folders i set up in a vertical side bar.  i got rid of the icon and enlarged the text label.  I also detached them from the grid so i can arrange the side to display all the text.  Works great.

My question is how to get them all lined up exactly one right below the next.  i can’t find where to set this.  can someone point me in the right direction??
