Running a script with LL.runScript from another script results in LL.getCurrentDesktop() to be null
– Android Version : 6.0.1
– Device : Sony Xperia Z3 compact
– Steps to reproduce the issue :
create a scriptA containing: LL.getCurrentDesktop().setPosition(100,100,1,TRUE)
Create script B containing:
LL.runScript(“scriptA”,null)
assign scriptB to home-key.
Pressing the home key does not animate the desktop. No action. Instead error of null object reference. (unexpectedly)
Setting scriptA to home-key does animate the desktop as LL.getCurrentDesktop() is not null (as expected)

Deleted all but one desktop under ‘configure desktops’.
But there are remaining orphaned desktops all with the same name. See Screenshot of hierarchy view.
Expected result is only one desktop in hierarchy view as in desktop overview.
]]>How to exchange all scripts / replace them without affecting the LL setup?
Currently you can only do it via manual copy n paste script by script. Pretty tedious.
Is there another easy way let’s say to load one or more scripts by name and replace the existing ones with the new content?
Is there a script for that somewhere?
Use case: having a final setup but there are only updates in the underlying scripts. I don’t want to load a template/backup because that resets the whole LL setup.
Many thanks for your suggestions.
]]>Add the red panel to the transparent one.
LL crashes. (latest release 12.6 r2360)
What’s wrong with the backup?
Creating a new panel and adding the red panel to that one seems to work.
Would be nice to know whats going and and why.
Side note: it might have to do something when panels within panels get created via script. I wanted to supply an easy template first that originates from a more complex template actually. Creating panels in a for loop in that complex template gives null after some successfully created panels.the supplied template is an easier testcase.
]]>Can anyone confirm that setting the typeface of a shortcut doesn’t get set correctly when done via script and…
Weird thing: when going to the properties, the font is selected in the font list. When selecting the same font again manually it gets applied correctly. So the font (which is imported correctly) can’t be the problem. I guess.
What other options are there to use a different font in script?
Any thoughts?
]]>Reduced text sharpness: Not sure if this is a bug.
In the latest lightning release fonts seem to be saved as images which means when zooming into a desktop (increasing the scale value) all text becomes unsharp/blurred.
Before the latest release all text remained sharp undependent from the desktops scale.
Is there any setting I am missing to keep text sharp? Is this a bug? Thanks for feedback +Pierre Hébert and all the others.
]]>User menu settings and restoring a template.
Is it intended that everything of a template but the *user menu” gets restored as it was saved meaning no adjustments (items, background etc) of the user menu are stored within a template so the user menu will always be default when restoring/installing whatever template?
