All, I’m sure I’m just being an idiot, but I can’t for the life of me find the way to get rid of the folder “icon”.

All, I’m sure I’m just being an idiot, but I can’t for the life of me find the way to get rid of the folder “icon”. When I choose an icon, it just put’s it on top of the grey folder icon and I can see the edges of it around my slightly more rounded icons that I want to use.

Any way to get rid of the grey box? Everything I do seems to get rid of the grey box and the new icon I select! I suppose I could just make the folder icon transparent and put the icon I want underneath, but there feels like there is a “proper” way of doing this! Any help appreciated!

Also welcome back to our dev! I love LLx. Thought I might have to go elsewhere but I’m sticking with this as I love it. Keep up the good work!

PS: I got around the other issue of the think nav bar I posted last week by just putting some toggles down there. Will post a pic in a sec. It shows the folder icon issue too

Bug?

Bug?

All, I just got a Huawei running EMUI9 on pie (mate 20 pro). Everything was working fine UNTIL I touched the items under

System bars > Navigation bars

Now my Nav bar is about twice as high as it was before… The weirdest thing is I can force stop the program, clear the cache, uninstall the program, reinstall and still the nav bar is the same! Resetting LL also doesn’t help… If I go into the menus or to any other program, the nav bar returns to it’s original height, it’s only in LL on the desktop and app drawer tyhat it happens. Even in LL menu it is the correct height. I see from screenshots from some others that I don’t think it’s just me. Any help greatly appreciated!

Sorry to dig this one out again, but I haven’t seen an update on this topic for a couple of months now, so thought I’d check it’s being worked on (or if it’s just some weird problem with my ROM).

The problem is “Expand notifications tray” action in gestures, is not working any more since I moved to Lollipop. I’m running a modified stock Samsung 5.0.1 ROM on an N910F (snapdragon Note 4), with root and busybox, it didn’t work on the completely stock version, so I’m assuming it’s not a problem with the modified ROM.

I’ve assigned it to many different gestures (I use swipe down normally), but remember seeing somewhere that swipe gestures might not be picked up correctly in panels, unless I set scrolling restrictions or something, so I tried setting to the home button, but that didn’t work either. I also tried setting the swipe down to do something else and it’s picking up the gesture fine. I also don’t have the status bar hidden (it’s transparent, but I’ve tried turning opacity up to 100% and it makes no difference).

Not sure if this will help, but it appears that many launchers suffer from this issue, the attached link is for NOVA launcher, where they appear to have got a fix using accessibility features.

I’d like to hear if anyone else has got this and whether it’s being worked on please. I’ve got a massive phone and I really miss this feature. Thanks!

Hi all.

Hi all. Maybe this is covered elsewhere, but I wanted to suggest that the folder custom positioning vertical value also can be specified from the bottom rather than the top. To me this makes more sense, as at the moment I want my folders to be aligned with the bottom row always in the same place. Currently I have to change my vertical value when my folders gain a row. Thanks!

First, this launcher is awesome. Great work!

Now down to business. Apologies if this is already possible, but I’d really like to see a panel that makes everything that is in the same location as it, transparent. Basically a bit like a window through to your wallpaper. The reason I want this is so I can mask out parts of widgets and icons I don’t want to see. If it’s already possible I’d appreciate knowing how I might achieve this. I did think it would be possible if I had a static wallpaper, but unfortunately mine is live! Thanks in advance!
