In recent version you added an option to sort items, but only when you click on items-compact/sort.
There is an option in miscellaneous: rearrange items which theoretically do this automatically, but only when you move an item.
What about select a sort (for example AZ ) and sort the items automatically when the folder is opened (if folder), when the desktop is shown (if desktop/panel), and when the app drawer is opened (if app drawer)?
Or just maybe with folders, in the ‘extra folder options’ menu.
What do you think? Could it be possible?
]]>Time for a suggestion:
This could be something impossible, so please don’t get excited until pierre’s comment 😉
My idea is to share the styles as normal long length string. So you can just copy/paste it.
This will allow to share styles in a easier way, but also as a debug tool because people could send it instead of describe it in bug reports.
I don’t know how LL store it when you make a backup, but if that way make a considerable length string…it should be easy, theoretically.
Remember: this can be completely impossible so stop dreaming.
]]>These are another strange bugs (the strange ones are the best :D )
In the general settings of a desktop/folder, in the item actions, set ‘launch shortcut [select shortcut]’ in swipe, tap, whatever.
1)In a specific item set in that action another different shortcut. It is still not marked as custom, so if you change the general, it is also changed.
2) if you set a different action, and then you uncheck the ‘custom’ checkbox to reset it, it ask about which shortcut you want to launch, instead of remember the general you set before.
It seem that the launcher just remember that it launch a shortcut, but not which one (I’m talking about custom/non-custom, of course the launcher know which shortcut execute)
Am I right? Could it be possible, in some way, to check if they launch the same shortcut when deciding if they are the same or not?
]]>Bug report:
I have a folder with games(apps), and the global gestures for the items in that folder(swipe up, swipe left…) are set to ‘move item’. This way, if I want to move an item I can just swipe from it (it’s a useful way btw)
Ignoring the bug that while you are moving an item this way it can or not be under the finger, the real bug is:
When you move an item and you place it again at the same position (I mean, you start moving it but you release it at the start position ) the item is launched. I discover that you need to place it almost at the same position as it was at first. It also happen in free mode.
If you can’t reproduce it it’ll try to give more details steps.
]]>Just a small question:
In the dynamic text, what is the ‘heap max’ ‘heap free’?
I understand technology, I’m sure I will know what that is, but in Spanish the name seem to be different, and it also seem to be a multi meaning word. So I can’t find the definition I’m looking for.
Just describe it (is it RAM? Services? … )
Thanks
]]>This is a little harmless bug, but maybe it will show some others…I don’t know. It’s just a bit funny.
[You will need a screen which can ‘see’ three or more different fingers]
If you use two fingers to zoom and, without release them, you place a third one (then you can release all) the zoom will be there, but won’t be there. I mean: you will see the zoom, but whenever you will scroll or zoom again, it will jump into the previous zoom.
For some reason, if you do it inside a folder and you close it after do it or change desktop, it is saved…strange.
]]>Do you remember a not-very-old post asking to select the height and width of a folder with percentage?
I just discover that you need it…because portrait and landscape have different heights/widths.
So, if you want a folder in the half upper part of the screen…now you can only make it in portrait or landscape, not both.
Another solution will be to allow different values for portrait and landscape. (You’ll finally need to separate all. lol )
]]>Would be possible to choose which items close the folder when they are launched?
Maybe some easier: how about disallow widgets to close folders (when you have the ‘close when an item is launched’ checked I mean)
I have a folder with games, so when I click one the folder, it close. But I also have a widget to toggle media sound…I need to reopen the folder every time I click it. (No, I can’t place the widget outside the folder. It’s almost full screen)
]]>I just discover this little tool in the app store.
It lets you save the default icon from the apps, so you don’t need to save the apk and extract it.
Maybe it’s useful for someone (I posted it here because it lets you easily make a shortcut and put a default app icon…I was searching for something like this time ago)
Sorry if it’s not useful to you.
